TOURIST VISA
ORDINARY TOURIST VISAS
Ordinary tourist visas are issued for up to 6 months to foreign citizens entering the Russian Federation as tourists.
An ordinary tourist visa may be:
Single-entry or double-entry with a validity period of up to three months;
Multiple-entry with a validity period of up to 6 months (the stay of a foreign citizen in the Russian Federation must not exceed 90 days within any 180-day period).
Grounds for issuing an ordinary tourist visa:
- Visa support document - Tourist Voucher and Confirmation (NOT the hotel reservation). You can get it in any travel agency or hotel (ask the hotel that you booked to send you "visa support document"). The tourist voucher and the confirmation include special reference number, details on the route of the trip, intended dates of travel, number of entries, passport details. Both documents should be stamped and signed by the authorized person. Copies of these documents are accepted;
Required documents for obtaining an ordinary tourist visa (in addition to the above):
A valid passport + its copy (the passport must contain at least 2 blank pages for visas and be valid for at least 6 months after the visa expiration date);
A completed and printed visa application form: https://visa.kdmid.ru;
One 3.5x4.5 cm photograph on a light background, showing a clear front-facing image without tinted glasses or headwear (except for citizens whose national or religious identity requires headwear in passport photos);
Medical insurance policy (for citizens of: Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Hungary, Greece, Denmark, Iceland, Spain, Italy, Cyprus, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Germany, Finland, France, Czech Republic, Sweden, Switzerland, Estonia) covering at least €30,000 and valid in Russia for the visa duration.
For applicants not citizens of Rwanda:
Permit for continuous residence in Rwanda valid for more than 180 days.
VISA FEE:
Single-entry visa:
104,000 RWF (processing time: 4–20 working days);
208,000 RWF (processing time: 1–3 working days).
Double-entry visa:
166,400 RWF (processing time: 4–20 working days);
332,800 RWF (processing time: 1–3 working days).
Multiple-entry visa:
312,000 RWF (processing time: 4–20 working days);
624,000 RWF (processing time: 1–3 working days).
